Wow! I can't believe how far I have come with my drawing ability. ZenTangles.com has given me the ability to tap into my right side creative side.
What I find so interesting is that I see a Tangle in everything now. I look with a different part of my brain and I'm excited about doing this type of drawing.
I'm in the middle of buying a house and had to be on the phone with the real estate lady for quite a while the other day and Pic 1 is the result of taking notes and doodling.
Pic 2 is me put zing on the ZenTangle web site and drawing in bits and pieces.
Pic 3 is me put zing on Leah Day's free motion web page via YouTube. I would at something she was doing on the sewing machine and I would draw along, since I can't watch and sew at the same time.
When I get into my home, I am going to be able to do this. I have some serious plans for my sewing room. I have more pics on my cell phone which shows my progression, but I'm not able to down load them yet.
I'm doing this so that I can learn to free motion. I am lucky enough to have purchased a Sweet Sixteen, Viking 16, Phaff 16, they are all the same machine. I'm in the middle of this house purchase thing and I'm not able to get out to the sewing room to practice. But that is okay, because everyone says that you need to practice on paper and pen to be able use the machine.
Someone has even suggested that I take a pen and paper to the sewing machine. Somehow tie the pen to the sewing machine and practice on paper. I would do it if my mom would not freak out....But I think I'm going to just to watch her face.....kind of crazy that way.
